Terri Shamar is a singer/songwriter/musician.  Her songs are not just salt and

peppered by the word of God... they are bathed in it.  She is unique and in

her own class, and she can passionately rock the house, capturing the

hearts of her audiences, the

backslidden, the broken, and the

lost.  Her audiences leave feeling

inspired and even healed.  She is a

divine appointment to the Body of

Christ.

"I was saved in 1983.  My songs

have been birthed through much

suffering, pain, and fiery trials in my

life:  rejection, heartache, suffering,

persecution, slander, grief,

kidnapped, physical pain, and have

faced death itself - a 40 ft. waterfall

accident which was more like some

kind of baptism and ordination

service; car accident without a scratch, prececed by an angelic warning 3

days before...and physically dying, unknown to doctors.  I had cried out to

the Lord to either take me out, or heal me.  The Lord spoke and said, 'My

grace is sufficient for you.'  From that point on, I was totally healed of all

physical illness and pain in my body."  Throughout the years, the Lord has

used Terri with prayer, diet and fasting to help many suffering with different

illnesses and afflictions, and suffering from cancer.

In 1988, out of 200 entries in the Southern California Songwriter's Festival,

she was selected to perform her Christian pop tune, "You Carried Me All the

Way," and was given airplay and honorable mentions in major newspapers.

Terri’s music plays on various radio stations throughout the world.

September 2003, Terri won 1st Place at the Christian Music Talent Search

(Festival Con Dios) in Medford, Oregon. Phil Joel (Newsboys), one of her

judges, announced Terri First Place Winner with her song "You Are My

Keeper" from her "Wake Now Sleeper" Cd.  She was to perform again in

Nashville, but could not make the trip because of family emergencies, so she

left it in the Lord’s hands for another chance to go to Nashville.

"In March 2005, the Lord visited me through the strange beautiful rays of the

sunrise, and His Presence filled my apartment.  I then ran outside and looked

up to see this beautiful glow in the sky.  I then noticed my yard was the only

one with flowers on the whole street.  Purple Hyacinth flowers which are

significant to me.  I ran back inside the apartment shouting, 'He's here, He's

here!'  I opened up all the blinds, and my husband told me to hear what the

Lord would say to me.  When I calmed down, the Lord spoke.  He told me that

the Bride of Christ was not ready for Him, and many will shrink from His

Presence, that her garments are filthy from the world, and told me to go tell

the Bride to make herself ready for His coming, having no spot nor wrinkle,

unstained from the world, expecting Him anytime....I truly believe this is our

final hour to fulfill the calling on all our lives, as though He will come back any

minute."

After cutting her third CD “Wake Now Sleeper”, she held a fund raiser for the

Hurricane Katrina Victims, at the Historical Rogue Theatre in Grants Pass,

OR.,  the first  Contemporary christian artist to ever perform there.  In the

summer of 2006, Terri was the first Contemporary Christian artist to play at

the summer annual "Concerts in the Park", and "The Rivers Edge

Restaurant", one of the top elite restaurants in Grants Pass, OR. that sets on

the famous Rogue River.  Thought of as a pioneer in this town of Grants

Pass, Terri sighed, 'God is not through with me yet!”  Sprawled on the floor,

face smashed in the ground, once again surrendering to God, remembering

that the proof of your faith being more precious than gold, even though tested

by fire, may be found to result in praise and honor and glory at the revelation

of Jesus Christ.

When God moves, He moves!  In January 2007,  Terri was already booked

for a paid China Missionary trip, but her husband’s company needed him to

meet an important contract deadline. His company reimbursed every dime for

the China trip!  So the Lord wisked Terri off to Franklin, TN. in March 2007, to

attend and perform at the Indieheaven CIA Summit Conference, a turning

point in her journey.

In September 2007, the Lord wisked Terri off to Pakistan with her husband,

and Ambassador Ministries, ministering in song and word day and night at

Crusades 15,000 to 50,000 in attendance, traveling city to city, and had an

opportunity to sing for Pakistan Dignitaries.  There were many miracles, many

healings, and thousands of souls saved.  Terri sang and preached to a 300

Muslim women conference, and laid hands on all who were sick, where

physical healings and miracles took place.  They call her the “young Mother

Teresa that rocks!”  Thank the Lord for His mercy and protection! This mission

was truly a life changing experience!  Again, the first in history for a

Contemporary Christian Artist to ever perform in Pakistan!

In 2009, Terri Shamar has recorded 4 Cds to date, and has currently put out

her latest EP, "Child After My Own Heart", with her producer, Phil Baquie of

SonicFlood.  Fueled by the band's melodious rock edge, Terri's songs bring

hope to a world falling apart before our very eyes, preparing us for the soon

return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Her EP also features one of her older songs, "See Me  Dance" off her "Wake

Now Sleeper" Cd, which became the Title Soundtrack for the Christian

movie, "C Me Dance", which was also released in April 2009.  Terri has also

been asked to appear on a couple episodes on two Christian TV series in the

near future.

Terri is currenty studying Hebrew, that she may return to Israel to be more

proficient in the language.  The Hebrew language is the Sacred Tongue, and

was Jesus' native language.  "Did you know that the DNA of the univierse is

comprised of the Hebrew alphabet, and down to our very cells?"  Terri also

ministers at special events, churches, retreats, coffee houses, schools,

women's conferences, etc.  Terri Shamar is determined to go where angels

dare to tread.
